The book is elegantly rebound by the nineteenth-century English bookbinder, Charles Worsfold. "Bound by Worsfold" is stamped on the top corner of the front free endpaper. The binding is 3/4, red leather with five raised bands on the spine and gilt lettering and gilt tooling (please see image #1 below). The endpapers are marbled to match the marbling of the boards.
